Inspired by my friends always coming to sit and talk to me while I edited, and my love of connecting with people came this little LIVE morning show! Every morning I show up on Instagram LIVE at 9:21 AM (EST) from my kitchen (or close-by) to talk!

I am Emilie. I am equal parts Photographer // Small biz owner // HR Director on a quest to educate and inspire those around me by highlighting the good work people are doing in their communities. I created 921 as a safe place where we drink LOTS of coffee, learn how to cook, dive deep into real issues, and talk to my friends + brands I love. None of the content I bring you is sponsored, and opinions are solely my own.

Good morning — it’s a little early, but if I’m being honest not having the best of days. I needed to just pop on say hi and then unplug for the weekend. Social media so often highlights only the curated and good so this is a reminder that it’s OK to not always be ok and have it together. It’s ok to have a bad day. Embrace it. Take care of yourself. Tomorrow is Father’s Day and I’m looking forward to some QT with my Dad, finally!! I have lots to share with you Monday at 9:21 AM (EST) so meet me back here and I will break it all down. FIND A DISTRACTION 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 y’all I was there last night I was stuck inside my head I couldn’t put my phone down and turn my brain off. I finally said that’s it your phone is OFF and you are watching a movie. Valentine’s Day for the @netflix win! So all that to say, things can be hard and it’s SO SO important to find a distraction. I believe that distraction and healing go hand and hand when you’re willing to come back and do the hard work!
